2013 Canaries to Caribbean
Back from work in South Africa, it is time to get sailing again and get ready for the big one!
After a gap of a few months, some rapid packing is needed as well as ordering ‘stuff’ to take out with us. There is then the minor matter of planning the provisions, water and fuel, etc. The plan is to rejoin Freebooter in Lanzarote mid-November, in time for the main ARC Rally in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria.
The big trip starts on 24th November! It will be just the 2 of us, probably following the age-old adage of heading south until the butter melts, and then turning right! If all goes well, the hope is to be in St Lucia by Christmas….
