Life & Travels Afloat in our Moody

Ngepi – Tiger Fishing

Our friends, Daniel and Ezeth from Windhoek, were meeting up with us and the highlight was a day tiger fishing on the river. These fish are aggressive and have serious dental overload! But few were in evidence and the catches were returned. A great day out on a river overloaded with hippos.

On another day, we joined an early morning guide bird walk. Truth be told, we struggled to spot some of the ones our very knowledgeable guide pointed out. It probably time for another trip to the optician!

On the other side of the river is the Bwabwata National Park. Best known for it buffalo herd, we failed to see any! But there were other animals and lots of birds.
