Wind!
Weehee, we’re moving! Had the chute up initially, then the wind changed. Now on to headsail and we’ve got the self steering set up and it’s working. Self steering means Freebie will steer to the wind and it will save battery power. The poor autopilot was confused by the second rudder, so it can have a rest for the moment. It is hot in the sun and lovely and quiet but for the odd boat engine in the distance and the sound of Freebie swishing through the water. We are so happy! It’s definitely an “eeeeee” moment! Think bacon butties will go down well soon!
